Jewish Voice leads a team of medical professionals, compassionate volunteers, and intercessory prayer warriors on medical outreaches to Manipur, India. In the past, we also went to Mizoram (2009-2010).
Find out more about how you can help us minister to the Jewish communities in both of these regions, and learn more about the geography of each area, the Jewish people groups we help, and the medical/spiritual care we provide.
Medical Outreach Trip Details
Dates: May 23 - June 3, 2013
Manipur is a state in northeastern India that covers 8,628 square miles. Its borders are Nagaland to the north, Mizoram to the south, Myanmar to the east, and Assam to the west. The capital city is Imphal. Jewish Voice’s first ever trip to Manipur was in 2010, and we are excited that God has opened a door to this region that in the past was closed to Westerners.
Jewish People Group Jewish Voice is committed to helping the Bnei (“sons of”) Menashe, the Lost Tribe of Manasseh, said to be one of the ten northern tribes of Israel. The particular people we will be ministering to are the Hmar Tribe.
Whether you are a medical professional or just have a heart to serve Jewish People in poor pockets of the globe and want to volunteer your time, you are welcome to come with us on this Jewish Voice medical outreach and bring your compassion to those who need it most. We will be providing humanitarian relief/medical aid to this often forgotten people group at the newly built hospital in the Mizo community. The clinic site is literally across the street from the Jewish community, so we are very excited to be right in the heart of God’s plans. Come and offer your support in our free medical, dental, and eye clinics, in our Prayer Room, or in various capacities such as administration and security. You will be blessed as you willingly sacrifice your time to be Yeshua’s hands and feet.
