02/27/2009 “I work for the American people, and I’m determined to bring the change that the people voted for last November. And that means cutting what we don't need to pay for what we do,” Mr. Obama said in announcing his budget.
The charitable giving deduction reduction, which would limit deductions for couples making $250,000 or individuals making $200,000, has provoked a lot of heat, but Mr. Obama is counting on that provision to raise $179.8 billion over 10 years.

What if charitable giving deductions are decreased? What if charitable donations to religious organizations no longer receive a tax deduction at any level? This may test our faith, but I believe the true church will not be discouraged!
Giving is a Kingdom principle—it yields a harvest of blessing that is far beyond such things as tax deductions. If satan thinks he can steal our blessing by taking away this incentive, I believe he’s in for a shock!
We are living in challenging times—that cannot be denied. More than ever, we must trust the Lord, and depend on His promises. The world is watching. More than ever, the world needs to see the favor and power of God in the lives of Believers.
The world is reeling, groping to find a moral compass. We have the moral compass!
We must be the moral compass!
Yeshua (Jesus) said not to worry for He has overcome the world.
Overcome the world! That’s the “stimulus plan” I’m looking for, aren’t you?

America has been blessed beyond other nations because she made the Lord her foundation and sent forth missionaries in numbers beyond any other country.
America has also been a safe haven for the Jewish People and was instrumental in the founding and the ongoing support of the State of Israel.
Although America may be moving away from these godly standards as a nation—and away from the divine abundance we’ve enjoyed—the Body of Messiah will shine!
We have a grand opportunity now—and an imperative—for we have the words of life and hope!
God is opening doors to outreach and missions like never before. YOU have been instrumental in helping Jewish Voice walk through those doors!
As we reach out, God has been pouring Himself out. Miracles, salvations and the favor of the Lord attended the Spring 2009 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia medical outreach in greater measure than we have ever experienced!
We now have two permanent clinics operating in Ethiopia. The need is so great; our Kechene clinic has to turn away precious people every day! We are committed to meeting the needs of the Ethiopian Jews awaiting aliyah to Israel. They are possibly the most impoverished Jewish People on earth, seemingly abandoned by all—but God hasn’t forgotten them, and neither has Jewish Voice!
Together we are reaching a world hungry for hope and the love of God, and yearning for the blessed assurance of eternal life through Yeshua our Messiah.
Because you give, you are part of GOD’S economy—not the 2009 Economic Stimulus Package!
Proverbs 28:27 says: He who gives to the poor will lack nothing. Hallelujah!
Proverbs 19:17 goes on to promise: He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done. Praise the Lord!
Is your trust in the Lord? You will not be disappointed! You will be like a well-watered tree. Have you given to the Lord? He will sustain you!
