Dr. Maurice Sklar was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to a Russian-Jewish family with a rich musical heritage.

At age four, he began playing the violin. He won numerous awards from the age of nine, and left home to study violin when he was only thirteen.

Accepted at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City at the age of fifteen, Maurice subsequently won a scholarship to attend the Curtis Institute of Music at the age of sixteen.... click here for more info.

Jewish Voice's television program, "Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis", focuses on teaching the Roots of New Testament Faith, Bible Prophecy, and Israel. Other keys to the program include interviewing guests who have stories to share about their faith in Yeshua, as well as about current events which impact all of us. The broadcasts consist of quality, half-hour weekly shows, shown in over twenty states and 5 overseas locations. Another outreach is our docu-dramas that retell the testimonies of Jewish people who have come to faith in Yeshua.
