One of the greatest prophetic events in history marked the year Jewish Voice Broadcasts, Inc. was born.
In 1967, healing evangelist Louis Kaplan launched a ministry called Jewish Voice. That same year, he started a radio program, Jewish Voice Broadcasts, which aired for the first time on Christian radio in Phoenix, Arizona. Later, a television program was added, which continues to air to this day. Not coincidentally, Israel reclaimed the city of Jerusalem in the 1967 Six-Day War, in fulfillment of a prophecy in Luke 21:24 that directly connects the reestablishment of Jerusalem with the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled.
Upon Kaplan’s death, the baton was passed to Jonathan Bernis in 1998. Founder of Hear O Israel Ministries, Bernis’ outreach organization produced large-scale International Festivals of Jewish Music & Dance throughout Eastern Europe and Russia, sharing the Good News to eager audiences of both Jews and Gentiles.
The two ministries merged in 2001, becoming Jewish Voice Ministries International—now a multi-faceted ministry with several focuses—major humanitarian medical, dental, and eye clinics to the impoverished Jewish Community of Ethiopia and India; International Festivals of Jewish Music & Dance that have expanded into South America and Western Europe—the most recent in Cordoba, Argentina in late 2009; the weekly Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis television program, aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Daystar Television Network, World Harvest Satellite Network (LeSEA), The Church Channel, Sky Angel Satellite Network, Crawford Communications (NRB), Cornerstone TeleVision Network (CTVN), Miracle Channel-Canada, and selected television stations from Seattle to Miami, as well as God TV, which airs the program throughout Israel and other parts of the Middle East.
 JVMI also publishes the bi-monthly Jewish Voice Today magazine, books, CDs, and DVDs that feature Jonathan’s teachings. Our web site hosts an inviting web store that features Messianic Jewish resources, news features about the ministry, current events in Israel and around the world, streaming video of our weekly television program, and our monthly “Ask the Rabbi” live webcast.
Jewish Voice’s mandate is to proclaim the Good News around the world to the Jew first and also to the Nations. This clear and focused calling is taking Jewish Voice Ministries International to the far corners of the world and will continue to energize us until Messiah returns. |
