Watch the Mystery Unfold Now!
Imagine having an injury, a painful condition – or worse, an out-of-control fever or infection – but no access to medical care.
That’s what it’s like in the poverty-stricken Jewish communities of Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and other parts of the world we serve.
A simple illness, a toothache or injury can easily become a life-threatening infection. Cataracts steal away eyesight every year, forcing already impoverished people to endure even more loss.
We go into rural communities because of our mission to reach the “Lost Tribes", but we treat everyone who comes for help. The people of the region see that the Jewish people are the reason for this enormous blessing. It causes them to rethink their prejudices and elicits new respect for the Jewish people.
Medical, Dental and Eye Care
One of the keys that opens doors toward sharing the Gospel is compassionately meeting physical needs. We wholeheartedly want to alleviate physical suffering in these poverty-stricken Jewish communities.
Jewish Voice’s Medical Outreaches treat an average of 13,000 people each – healing illness, reversing infection, and restoring eyesight. Through your partnership, when you give to Jewish Voice, you are literally saving lives.
Clean Water
In some places where Jewish Voice goes, the water used for bathing, doing laundry, and acquiring drinking water is the same source used by thirsty, dirty animals. Waterborne illnesses are a constant problem.
During an Outreach, Jewish Voice teaches short classes about the importance of clean water and hygiene and distributes long-lasting water filters to prevent disease.
Sharing the Gospel
Through the Spiritual Care Ministry accompanying Outreaches, Jewish Voice shares the Gospel, provides encouragement and offers compassionate prayer and counseling for the hurting. Over the years, thousands have accepted Jesus as their Messiah.
When the short-term Outreach ends and Jewish Voice and its volunteers go home, the ministry doesn’t stop.
Partnering in-country Messianic Jewish congregations supported by Jewish Voice follow-up with new Believers and help start new congregations to strengthen and establish these new Believers in their faith.
Jewish Voice also provides discipleship and leadership training.
Hundreds of thousands of Jewish people live below the poverty line in places you may have never heard of.
Because of persecution over the centuries in many countries where they now live, many Jewish people hid their Jewish heritage by practicing their faith secretly. Some are locally known to be Jewish – and suffer prejudice and persecution because of it – but have only recently become known to the rest of the world.
In the last 75 years or so, Jewish communities have become known in Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, India, China and other surprising countries.
Even more surprising to some is that members of the “Lost Tribes” living in these countries look like any other people native to these regions.
Even though the “Lost Tribes” are found, the name stuck because it says so much about their history.
Today, these “Lost Tribes” still face persecution, untreated illness, and lack of access to basic necessities. Access to medicine is often limited, and their water source is filled with contaminants that can lead to death and disease.
What is the passion behind Jewish Voice?
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel and see all Israel saved. One of the keys that opens doors toward this is compassionately meeting physical needs.
“People don’t care what you know until they know that you care.” That’s what our President and CEO, Jonathan Bernis, always says.
And he’s right. We wholeheartedly want to alleviate physical suffering in these poverty-stricken Jewish communities. At the same time, we recognize that the spiritual side of things is even more critical because the consequences last for eternity.

Do you need volunteers for your Medical Outreaches to the “Lost Tribes”?
Yes. We need medical professionals and non-medical volunteers. Medical roles include doctors, surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, dentists and dental hygienists. Non-medical roles include line management, administration, children’s ministry, and prayer counselors in the Spiritual Care Ministry. Visit our Medical Outreaches page to learn more.
Are my donations to Jewish Voice tax deductible?
Yes! Jewish Voice Ministries International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All financial contributions are tax-deductible within the limits prescribed by law. The Internal Revenue Code permits U.S. givers to deduct the amount of their gift that exceeds the value of materials received.
How are my gifts used?
Your generosity is greatly appreciated. We aim to be as transparent as possible regarding how your donations are used. The $40 donation figure is based on the per-person cost of providing various aspects of life-saving support in our Medical Outreaches ministry category – such as medical care, eye exams, dental care, spiritual resources and other services. Your gift will be used within that category where it is most needed; when you give, your gift may also provide other essential needs for our global Outreaches to Jewish communities worldwide.
Are you committed to financial accountability?
We want you to be confident that your gifts to Jewish Voice Ministries International are used wisely and effectively. That’s why we are accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
We are also governed by a board of directors that meets bi-annually.
Jewish Voice is voluntarily audited each year by an independent public accounting firm to ensure financial accountability and transparency. Any Jewish Voice partner can request our most recent audited financial statement.
What are you called to do?
Paul makes it clear in his letter to the Romans.
As a Believer, you have a mandate to stir the world’s unbelieving Jewish people to jealousy!
So what does that mean? It means to demonstrate that you have something they want – salvation through Jesus (the Jewish Messiah) and eternal life with God – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
It means to live a life of distinction, understanding the Jewish roots of your faith, acting in love for the Jewish people and shouldering the burden for their salvation.
Paul writes that now is the time for the Jewish people to receive God’s mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you (Romans 11:30-31).
In fact, we believe the most powerful witness will come to the world when both Jews and Gentile Believers together proclaim Jesus as their Messiah.
Paul also reminds us, right after describing the Gentile Believer’s burden to seek the salvation of God’s Chosen People, to “not be conformed to the patterns of this world” (Romans 12:1-2).
Instead, we are to hate what is evil, cling to what is good, never be lacking in zeal, be faithful in prayer AND share with the Lord’s people in need (Romans 12:9-12).
At Jewish Voice, we believe no Jewish person is too far away physically or spiritually to experience God’s hope and salvation through Jesus.
We pray you would see yourself and your God-given calling through the beautiful design of the ancient Grafted Seal and respond by joining us in our work to reach every Jewish person in the world with the Good News of the Messiah.

WHAT IS THE GRAFTED SEAL?
At the top is a traditional Jewish menorah design to symbolize the remnant of Israel with branches grafted back in. Some believe this represents Messianic Jews (Jews who believe in Jesus).
In the center, the Star of David weaves together the two distinct groups – Jews and Gentile Believers – both working in partnership and shalom to bear powerful witness to the world of God’s promises, love, mercy and grace through Jesus, our shared Messiah.
At the bottom is an ichthys fish as well as numbers we’ve added to represent Romans 11:11. Some believe the ichthys symbolizes Gentile Believers and their calling to point Israel back to salvation through the Messiah, Yeshua.
This ancient symbol dates back to around the 3rd century A.D. and is believed to tell the incredible story of the early Church to remind Gentiles and believing Jews of the biblical mandate in Romans 11, as well as to portray the power and mystery of two faiths made whole through Yeshua (Jesus), the Messiah.
