Prayer is the place He finds them.
From our beginning, Jewish Voice Ministries international has been completely dependent on prayer to do the possible, the impossible, and everything in between. Prayer is the very oxygen of our ministry culture, and the lifeblood of all we do. The testimony below from Deb, one of our outreach partners, highlights our approach to prayer:
My husband Jack and I moved to Phoenix from Anchorage, Alaska in September 2015 after hearing the Lord call us to "make ourselves available.” We have had a love for the Jewish people and the land of Israel for quite a few years, and we had been asking the Lord how we could come alongside a ministry that shared our passion to see His Kingdom expanded, focusing on the Jewish people.
After relocating to Phoenix, we began visiting the prayer room once or twice a week and attending the monthly worship/prayer evening. Each employee of the ministry that we have met has made us feel appreciated and a welcome part of the intercessory team... we have enjoyed the weekly Jewish Voice Watchmen Prayer meeting with people from various denominational backgrounds that love God's chosen people. In January 2016, we had the privilege of joining a Jewish Voice Ministries medical outreach to Tach Gayint, Ethiopia as part of the prayer ministry team.
We were able to pray in advance of the outreach with the Jewish Voice intercessory group, and then live the answers to those prayers out on the field. It was exciting to see the Lord work through the prayers of Jewish Voice prayer partners before, during, and after our trip. We saw God move in incredible ways. It’s our privilege to stand with JVMI in prayer as they reach out to "the Jew first, and also the nations.”
