The Long Wait Ends in Israel

Some heart-touching reunions took place in Israel last week when 40 members of the Bnei Menashe — considered a “Lost Tribe” community living in the Northeastern Indian state of Manipur — arrived in Israel. Last week 40 members of the B’nei Menashe Jewish community from India “came home” to Israel. The B’nei Menashe identify themselves as descendants from the tribe of Manasseh.
