Encouragement and Hope | Day 7

And pray in the Ruach (Spirit) on every occasion, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, keep alert with perseverance and supplication for all the kedoshim (saints).

Ephesians 6:18

The Apostle Paul wrote four letters, known as the prison epistles, while he was under house arrest in Rome. These letters, three to groups of Believers and one to an individual, contain words of instruction, correction, encouragement and hope. Paul set his mind on building up the followers of Yeshua despite the circumstances he was in by encouraging them with words of life and reminding them to pray. We all can do the same. We are blessed to have so many means of communication available to us phone apps that connect the world, social media, messaging, video conferencing, and yes, we can still send a letter. Let’s use this time of separation and isolation to reach out to family, friends, classmates, co-workers and others in our sphere of influence. This is a time of unprecedented opportunity to share the hope that is only found in Yeshua to an audience that is listening and ready.

  • Take a moment and list people in your life that you can encourage today.
  • Send a short message to them so they know you’re thinking of them and they are not alone.

Begin to pray for them daily.
