Our heartfelt prayers go out to the grieving families and friends of the three kidnapped Israeli teenagers whose bodies have been located today, according to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). A spokesman for the IDF released the heartbreaking news that, after three weeks of searching, a volunteer search team has located the bodies of Naftali Fraenkel, 16, an American-born Israeli citizen, and his fellow classmates, Eyal Yifrach, also 16, and Gilad Shaar, 19, in a shallow grave in an open field just north of Hebron, where the terrorist organization, Hamas, is known to operate. The three teens vanished as they were hitchhiking home from a West Bank religious school on June 12.

The Jewish state, as well as the international community, including the U.S., has condemned the horrific atrocity and held vigils and large rallies in support of the boys and their families. Around the world, thousands have repeatedly gathered to pray for their safety.

Partners and friends of Jewish Voice are asked to join us in praying for the three families, for wisdom for the Israeli government officials, including Israeli Deputy Minister of Defense, Danny Dannon, who has threatened “possible actions” in Gaza and Ramallah, and God’s protection for Israel.
