Hear O’ Israel! Festival of Jewish Music & Dance
Central Europe | December 13–23, 2019
It’s the birthplace of modern Jewish culture. But Central Europe’s vibrant, 1,000-year history of Jewish life was all but extinguished when the Holocaust nearly wiped out entire Jewish populations. Millions died, and many who survived hid their Jewish identity for many years to avoid persecution.
Today, a remnant of Jewish life echoes in the empty space left by the Holocaust. Many people in Central Europe’s Protestant and Catholic churches have a Jewish parent or grandparent, but their heritage lies undiscovered or unclaimed.
Join us on an exciting Festival Outreach to:
- Share the Gospel with Jewish people and nominal Christians in Central Europe
- Breathe life back into the Jewish culture there
- Re-engage those in the Christian church with their Jewish heritage and help them understand they can experience and express both sides of their identity
Opportunities
Street Outreach ‒ Engage in new and creative approaches to spread the word about the Festival, praying with people and sharing the Gospel as the Lord leads.
