Hear O’ Israel! Festivals of Music & Dance
For more than two decades, our large-scale, international Hear O’ Israel! Festivals of Jewish Music & Dance have combined traditional Jewish music and dance with powerful proclamation of the Good News to reach more than 600,000 people in communities with a Jewish population in Eastern Europe, India, and South America. More than half those who have attended one of these festival events are Jewish.
These inspiring, Spirit-filled events have featured the talents of Messianic worship leader Paul Wilbur, violinist Maurice Sklar, and a host of Messianic dancers and musicians. The result is that more than a quarter of a million people have responded to the creative proclamation of the Good News through these events.
While the artists and dancers prepare during the week prior to performing, our faithful volunteer outreach partners are praying and inviting people to the shows. They hand out flyers, engage local shop owners, and share the Gospel as they extend invitations to the festival. We’ve had more than 1,500 outreach partners come from around the world to be a part of our festival teams. They are involved in everything from street outreach, mini-concerts, home and hospital visits, and prayer.
At the end of each performance, Jonathan Bernis delivers a stirring message presenting Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah longed for by the Jewish People and given for the sin of us all. Prayer counselors minister to those who come forward in response. Local congregations disciple new Believers and follow-up with everyone who expressed interest in learning more about Jesus.
Why We Go
There is no more important time to share the Good News of salvation than this very moment. Ministering a message of love, hope, and eternal life, Jewish Voice Festivals leave a lasting legacy of spiritual growth and creativity, as well as a spirit and passion for following God – all absolute necessities for any Believer facing persecution and the hatred birthed of anti-Semitism.
No one knows how long our windows of opportunity will remain open. Now is the time to take the Gospel message, before it’s too late.
God is preparing hearts even now to receive invitations from our street outreach team. He is working to bring them to the Festival to uplift their heavy hearts and point them to Yeshua the Messiah.
These Festivals also support the growth of local Messianic Jewish congregational networks as post-Festival follow-up and discipleship of new Jewish Believers builds the Messianic community in the areas where we hold Festivals. There is much to these events, and outreach partners are the foundation that make them successful.

To have the most benefit, see a health-care provider at least 4–6 weeks before your trip to allow time for your vaccines to take effect. Even if you have less than four weeks before you leave, you should still see a health-care provider for needed vaccines and other medications and information about how to protect yourself from illness and injury while traveling.

The day starts with a morning devotional service. During the day, there is typically an option to be in continuous prayer, led by the Prayer Director, at either the hotel or an offsite location in the festival city. Another team will be out inviting people to the festival. This is a great opportunity to share the Good News of Yeshua face-to-face with the Jewish and Gentile people of the city. Our teams are usually stationed near major venues, train stations, and universities for several hours a day. During the festival, volunteers work on our prayer team, as ushers, or as stage hands. There may be some scheduled time for shopping and sightseeing.
