A newly discovered document exposes the Islamic State’s plans to trigger an Armageddon-like “end of the world” scenario in the Middle East.

ISIS-document An ISIS recruitment document recently captured in Pakistan’s lawless tribal lands reveals that the extremist group hopes to assemble an army in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and then trigger a war with India, which, according to the plan, would spread into a global conflict. Both Pakistan and India are nuclear powers and have flirted with war on numerous occasions in the past.

As USA Today reported on Tuesday of this week:

The undated document, titled ‘A Brief History of the Islamic State Caliphate (ISC),’ seeks to unite dozens of factions of the Pakistani and Afghan Taliban into a single army of terror.  It includes a never-before-seen history of the Islamic State, details chilling future battle plans, urges al-Qaeda to join the group and says the Islamic State's leader should be recognized as the sole ruler of the world’s 1 billion Muslims . . . The document also states, “Accept the fact that this caliphate will survive and prosper until it takes over the entire world and beheads every last person that rebels against Allah.” It adds, “This is the bitter truth, swallow it.”

The strategy this document reveals is a sharp departure from the one traditionally pursued by al-Qaeda, which has targeted terrorist attacks on the United States and other western nations. Islamic State leaders, according to this document, believe that’s the wrong strategic goal. “Instead of wasting energy in a direct confrontation with the U.S., we should focus on an armed uprising in the Arab world for the establishment of the caliphate,” the paper said.

Here at Jewish Voice we’re closely monitoring events in the Middle East with concern and with a particular eye toward the fulfillment of relevant biblical prophecies.

We’re also striving to educate, illuminate, and persuade others about the importance of supporting Israel and standing with the Jewish People.

Of course, your gifts of support help make that possible, but they do so much more—including funding our medical outreaches among the scattered Tribes of Israel, taking humanitarian aid to fragile Holocaust survivors in Israel, and nurturing remote Messianic communities.
