Thank you for praying for our Mberengwa, Zimbabwe Medical Outreach two weeks ago, and the Messianic Leadership Training that took place simultaneously. Because of your prayers and the gracious blessings of Yeshua, we saw challenges overcome, needs met, and lives changed! We also saw many answers to prayer. Here are some of them: • 7,659 total patients received medical and dental care (the most treated in any Zimbabwe clinic so far)! • 3,241 patients reached out for spiritual support by going through the prayer room. • 641 people prayed to receive Yeshua as their Messiah. • 693 people filled out follow-up cards.
In addition, the Messianic Leadership Training in Zimbabwe was a great success! We spent two days in worship, instruction, and ministry with leaders from 35 Lemba congregations across Zimbabwe. Here are some highlights:
• We served 60 leaders from the Lemba Messianic Jewish community. • We had eight teaching sessions and two council meetings with leaders. • We ordained the first Lemba National Congregational Overseer!
Here are some ways you can continue to pray for the work of the Gospel in the Lemba community:
• For protection and refreshment for all of our staff and volunteer participants as they “re-enter” everyday life and process all that they experienced in Zimbabwe • For the local ministry team in Zimbabwe that will follow up with the 693 people who accepted and/or want to know more about Yeshua • For God’s protection and building up of new Believers and those recently immersed in the name of Yeshua • That Believers, especially the newest ones, will not be swayed by religious groups who, through bribes or lies, seek to pull them over to false beliefs • Pray for strong, godly leadership among the Lemba, especially among the men as they lead the congregations and their families
