Terrorist Attacks Have Doubled in Israel

February 07, 2014

In a move that highlights the growing frequency and severity of terror attacks, the State Department this week issued an advisory warning to US citizens who live in or plan to visit Israel. The statement said, "In light of the threat of rocket or missile attacks, visitors and US citizens living in Israel should also familiarize themselves with the location of the nearest bomb shelter (often referred to as a secure or protected room)”.

The warning also cautioned against travel to Gaza and much of the West Bank. In addition certain regions of Israel were named as particularly likely to be the subject of further attacks. The State Department has also issued a directive banning any of their employees from riding public buses for transportation because they have so often been the target of terror strikes.

While the peace talks sponsored and promoted by the United States continue, the situation on the ground is anything but peaceful. Shin Bet, Israel's security agency, reported recently that terrorist attacks last year more than doubled from the year before. The intense hatred toward the Jewish People is spilling out into the open, and the enemies of Israel are growing more active.

The work that Jewish Voice is doing each day inside the nation of Israel with more than two dozen ministry partners is a vital help and blessing in these difficult and trying days. The Jewish People are under attack, and by stepping forward to help during this time, we are seeing wonderful opportunities to show and share the love of Yeshua with them.

All of the work that we are doing in Israel (and around the world) is made possible by the help of generous friends like you. Your contribution today will make it possible for us to continue and increase our efforts to bless the Jewish People. Together we are taking them the Good News, and I want you to know how very much we appreciate your friendship and support. God bless you.
