One of our partner ministries in the Land has been helping to support over 800 families who’ve been impacted by the war and violence.
Alia* and her children are one of the families who immigrated to Israel, fleeing the war in Ukraine over a year and half ago.
Returning to their Jewish homeland, they connected with our partner who assisted them with various needs to help them settle into their new lives in Ashkelon.
But when the war with Hamas erupted in Israel on October 7, the family experienced a traumatizing “déjà vu” – but they’ve received so much comfort and hope from Christian and Jewish Believers in Jesus who are helping to meet their ongoing needs.
“They are helping us both with food and with encouraging words, they are not forgetting us, and we will not forget their help,” Alia says. “We’re very grateful for you being there for us in this difficult time. We don’t know what awaits us in the future, but what we want most is for these wars to end!”

- Shalom for the loved ones of the 1,400 murdered in the attacks, that they would find comfort in their mourning
- Comfort for the remaining hostages to be freed and for their miraculous return home
- Protection for the soldiers fighting on the front lines, that God would protect them and bring them home to their loved ones soon
- Peace in the hearts of Jewish Believers throughout Israel. Pray the Lord would strengthen and comfort them so they can be a light and comfort to their communities in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name.
