One of our 80+ partner ministries in the Land has been observing Shabbat with their community – even in the midst of the war that erupted on October 7.
This observance has been more critical than ever...a time to reflect and to rest in God’s goodness and in the promises of His faithfulness.
But more than that, it’s been a time of important unity and friendship among Jewish and Christian Believers!
Here’s what our partners had to say about this holy time of fellowship:
“As part of the teaching series on unity, we wanted to have a practical event that would celebrate and further build the bonds and friendships between us. We recited the traditional Shabbat blessings and then blessed the women and children in the name of Yeshua (Jesus) before we shared a buffet-style meal. We had to extend our program by half an hour to give more time for people to chat and fellowship together. It was an incredible bonding experience. We thank the Lord for continuing to build the unity among us, knitting us together through His Spirit.”

- Peace in the hearts of Jewish Believers throughout Israel. Pray the Lord would strengthen and comfort them so they can be a light and comfort to their communities in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) name
