Chag Purim Sameach!

March 23, 2016

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer! - Psalm 18:3 TLV

Purim is a story of rescue, salvation, and deliverance. It reveals God’s power to place just the right people in just the right places, “for such a time as this” in order to fulfill His purposes.

An enemy was trying to destroy the Jewish People, and God used Esther to rescue them. Throughout history, God’s enemy has tried to eliminate the Jewish People, but God is a God of deliverance (Psalm 68:20). He has saved and sustained His People over and over again.

Celebrating the salvation of God at Purim and wishing you a joyful holiday!

Purim is for rejoicing! It’s a time to celebrate God delivering His People in Esther’s day, throughout history, and how He has ultimately extended His grace and power to redeem us eternally in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus).

As you celebrate Purim, may your joy be rich with reflection, thanksgiving, and celebration for all the ways God has shown you His protection and love.
