Feeling weary and overwhelmed by the press of the enemy and the hard things of life? David understood, and gave us this heartfelt prayer, full of honesty about himself, and truth about his hope in God. Let this Psalm give voice to your prayers when you are too weary for words: Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in Your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief. 2 Do not bring Your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before Y...

Israel Offers Assistance to Friend in Need

May 15, 2014

On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered the government of Nigeria Israel’s assistance in locating 276 high-school girls who were abducted four weeks ago by the Boko Haram terrorist network. The mass abduction by the Islamist terrorist group based in northern Nigeria was widely ignored by the mainstream media in the U.S. for two weeks, but persistent calls for action and awareness by Christians through social media eventually brought the atrocity to the world’s attention. The Lord Has Done Great Things For Us

May 14, 2014

“The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:3 Prior to our recent Medical Outreach in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which contained a number of new elements, we sensed the Lord highlighting for us the scripture, “See, I am doing a new thing!” – Isaiah 43:19. We held onto, pressed into, and proclaimed that verse, and we saw the Lord move in amazing ways! He did do new things. In fact, great things! During the latter part of the week Jewish Voice Ministries he...

Medical Missions Ethiopia - Children

May 02, 2014

Bee Sting Buddy How painful to be stung by a bee around your eye! On Monday at our medical missions clinic, a little guy named Enbalchocho came to us with his eye swollen shut from a bee sting. Grimacing with the pain and discomfort, he did not look happy. The next day some volunteers caught up with the boy outside the gates, playing in the street with friends. Today, only the still-loose skin under his eye identifies him as the same boy. Different clothes and a freshly shaved head made it di...
