It’s the miracle of a single night’s supply of oil that burned for eight days so the temple in Jerusalem could be rededicated more than 2,000 years ago.
I sit amazed at what the Lord has allowed JVMI and our partners to accomplish in a year that must be planned in pencil and when everything points to the need for flexibility. 2021 has been a year filled with opportunities through doors that only the Lord could open, as we continue to navigate the ever-changing landscape of COVID restrictions and international travel.
Last year, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jewish Voice treated 14,816 patients at our international medical and dental clinics in Zimbabwe and Ethiopia. That’s nothing short of a miracle. I’ve probably shared this with you before, but the reason we put so much effort and energy into helping impoverished Jewish communities around the world is simple:
Shalom,
Our team recently completed a unique outreach to the Lemba Messianic communities in Zimbabwe.Typically, we have served Lemba communities in the form of free Medical Clinics, but due to COVID restrictions, we were not able to hold a typical outreach.
You may have noticed that when we mention upcoming Outreaches, we say things like “Southern Ethiopia” or other non-specific identifiers. There’s a reason for that. It’s not that we don’t know exactly where we’re going. We’re just being careful.
