Beyond the Broadcast: Our Bold New Season Begins. Watch Now ->
This Friday evening at sunset begins the seven-day Jewish holiday of Sukkot, the Feast of Booths or Tabernacles. Scripture commands Jewish people to dwell in temporary shelters during this holiday to remind us of how our ancestors lived in the wilderness after the Exodus. It also celebrates God’s presence with the Israelites then and His presence with us today (Leviticus 23:43).

Sukkot is a time of joy and happiness coming right after the solemn Day of Atonement. It’s also a great opportunity to pray that Jewish people know their Messiah, who came to Earth to dwell among us.
Please Pray
Pray for God to open the hearts and eyes of Jewish people who don’t yet believe in Yeshua (Jesus) so they will recognize Him as the promised Messiah of Israel (Zechariah 12:10).
Father, during this season when Israel remembers Your faithfulness and provision, open the eyes of Your people to recognize Yeshua. Remove every barrier, misunderstanding, and spiritual blindness that prevents them from seeing Him as the promised Messiah. Give them opportunities to encounter the Scriptures, Believers, and testimonies that point them to Yeshua. May many Jewish people discover that the Messiah they have been waiting for has come.
Pray for Jewish people to experience God as their dwelling place (Ezekiel 37:27 and John 1:14).
God of Israel, reveal Yourself to Jewish people during this season of Sukkot. Let them encounter Your presence in a personal and powerful way. Where there is loneliness, bring Your presence. Where there is fear, bring Your peace. Where there is hunger for a spiritual home, reveal Yourself as their true dwelling place. May they discover that the God who dwelt among Israel in the wilderness ultimately came near to us in Yeshua.
Pray that the joy of Sukkot will lead to spiritual joy in Messiah (Leviticus 23:40).
Father, restore true joy to Your people. In a world filled with anxiety, conflict, grief, and uncertainty, let Jewish families experience the joy and peace that comes from You. For Messianic Believers, deepen their joy in Yeshua. For those who do not yet believe, use the celebration of Sukkot to awaken a deeper spiritual hunger for You. May their joy move beyond tradition and circumstance into a living relationship with the God of Israel.
Pray for the coming Messianic Kingdom and the salvation of the nations (Zechariah 14:16).
Father, hasten the day when all Israel is saved and the nations recognize Your reign. Prepare Jewish and Gentile hearts alike for the coming Kingdom of Messiah. Let the Jewish people recognize their Messiah and let the nations turn from idols to the living God. May Your people become a blessing to the nations, and may the nations come to worship the King.
