Lemba Congregations hold Couples Conference in Zimbabwe

January 20, 2017

You know a new congregation has taken root when it produces fruit and generates ministry by its own initiative. That’s what’s happening among the Lemba congregations in Zimbabwe. They are thriving!

Recently, Lemba leaders recognized the need in their communities to strengthen families and marriages. They understand that strong marriages and families will shape strong congregations. So, in December 2016, the Lemba congregations hosted a Couples Conference at the Prayer Centre in Mharepare.

The conference was designed to strengthen marriages and help bring peace and unity in families. At the conference, couples were able to share challenges and learn to deal with problems in a biblical way. Couples were encouraged to pursue transparency and faithfulness in their marriages.

Fifty-nine couples attended this first Couples Conference. As they continue to grow in their marriages and families, they will inspire others to live lives that reflect the Lord.
